Quick summary: Everyone I communicated with was very friendly and I ended up with the car I wanted at the price I expected. I did not feel pressured into anything (though I did know what I wanted before I went in). I have no complaints and feel that I was treated well. It's worth noting there is an administration fee that is not included in the price of the car, but it says that on the page for each car, so you just have to take it into consideration on your own. Long summary: I found the car I wanted online (2016 Mazda 3 i Sport) and I emailed Grappone asking about it. After getting some initial information, I headed in. After pulling up the car in the system, we discussed some additional points and then Robert pulled the car up for me. It still had the plastic on it, it seemed they had just got it in. The car looked great, but it was so new it hadn't had an initial inspection so I wasn't able to drive it just yet. Went home that night and looked around to see if I could find a better deal, which I was not able to. Went back in the next day, test drove the new car and was offered more money on my trade in than KBB's suggested amount. Signed all the paperwork and drove home later that night. Overall, I felt my experience was very good. Could I have gone to another dealership and negotiated for a better deal? Maybe, but I don't want to negotiate for a car. I want the price up front and not have a sales person go check with their manager to see if they can get a lower price. No thanks.

I messaged Mazda Grappone about a Mazda3 s Grand Touring to confirm price and availability. I got an email with the quoted price and that is was available. I proceeded to call the dealership and everything was double confirmed . I asked to put the vehicle on hold and they couldn't do that but said that it hasn't even been test driven over the weekend. I was told to ask for a "Team Lead" and that everything would be prepared for me as they were expecting me. I got out of work early, cleaned my car out and drove 1 hour 1/2 to the dealership. When I got there i waited 10 minutes for a rep and when I finally spoke with someone said they couldn't find the vehicle and scrambled around for 20 minutes to find out what happened. They said some rep by the name of Jake (who could not be found) just sold the car to another dealership 45 minutes ago and these thing "just happen". The funny part is they tried to find a "substitute", but the prices of the lesser version of the new vehicle were priced up an extra $5,000. They knew they mispriced the car and the only way to get out of it was to sell it quickly to a dealer before I got there...plain and simple. Have some friggen accountability, I would have been much happier if i didn't have to waste 4 hours of my time and just said they mis-priced their car.
